My name is Moenau,

I’m from the island of Tahiti.

Born and raised in Tahiti, I am trilingual and deeply passionate about Polynesian culture. I began by teaching beginner-level Tahitian at home to my husband and two daughters, which inspired me to create online Tahitian language courses to share what I have learned.

Welcome to my Tahitian language course, an online program that is accessible and engaging for those passionate about learning the languages of Polynesia.

My mission is to perpetuate the "endangered" languages of the South Pacific islands, like the Tahitian language. I truly believe that the only way to keep these languages alive is to learn, share, and pass them on from one generation to the next.

My goal is to create a bridge between the islands of Tahiti and the rest of the world through languages, culture, and travel.

I am convinced that this program will help you achieve your goals, and I am committed to creating a vibrant and interactive classroom atmosphere.

For me, learning the Reo Tahiti (Tahitian language) is a journey of personal growth. It’s more about BECOMING a Tahitian speaker than just knowing how to speak Tahitian. I believe that with a community of like-minded individuals, you become stronger and a better version of yourself.
